Michael Bidwill '90
President of the Arizona Cardinals

“These were three of the best years of my life. This school, being in Washington, D.C., is so important. The great externships you get here, the great education I got here inside and outside the classroom…If I could do it all over again, I would do it exactly the same."

Mr. Bidwill is president of the Arizona Cardinals professional football team. He joined the organization in 1996 as vice president and general counsel after practicing law for six years as a federal prosecutor. Among his most significant accomplishments with the Cardinals was spearheading the effort that led to the creation of University of Phoenix Stadium. In addition to his prominent role in guiding the team, Mr. Bidwill has established himself as an influential leader in the greater Phoenix business community where he has been a strong advocate for economic growth and development. Mr. Bidwill has served back-to-back terms as Chairman of Greater Phoenix Economic Council.  A licensed pilot and flying enthusiast, Mr. Bidwill also donates his time and resources as a volunteer for “Flying Samaritans,” a group of volunteers including doctors and other medical personnel who offer free medical clinics in Mexico.
