John G. Carberry '73
Vice President, Oppenheimer Multifamily Housing and Healthcare Finance, Inc

"The reputation of the Law School, my education and JD degree opened the door for a law career in Boston, a city I had never lived in but wanted to try.  Throughout my career in finance, I look back at   the Law School as providing the tools to analyze and structure a transaction, which works as intended. The Law School gave me a solid foundation and I feel my support is a partial pay-back for this and something which I would like to have available for others."

“The position of CUA Law in D.C. with its opportunities for courses, contacts and employment in a multitude of fields is one of the key reasons for anyone to consider the Law School."

Mr. Carberry has served as Vice President for Origination of Oppenheimer Multi-family Housing and Healthcare Finance Corporation since 2009. He is responsible for originating and organizing multi-family, assisted living, nursing home and healthcare facility financing which qualify for FHA Mortgage Insurance. Mr. Carberry previously served as President of Charles River Mortgage Company (1984-2007), where as day-to-day manager he structured the company as a commercial and multi-family mortgage lender.
